Welcome to Réka Thornton, an independent British design studio creating colourful luxury wallpaper and home décor for interiors that are anything but ordinary.

Founded by interior designer Réka Thornton, the studio is inspired by a love of colour, pattern, English gardens, vintage textiles and the wonderfully unexpected combinations that make a house feel truly personal.

From romantic florals and English country botanicals to playful stripes, bold abstracts and wonderfully wiggly patterns, our designs are made to bring colour, character and a little bit of joy into your home.

I believe colourful interiors can be sophisticated. My wallpapers combine nostalgic references with a contemporary twist - traditional florals might be given a fresh palette, while classic checks and stripes are reimagined alongside bold, graphic patterns. 

The result is wallpaper that feels joyful and distinctive, yet beautifully at home in a sophisticated interior.

Every Réka Thornton design begins with an original idea, where I develop the colours, scale and composition of each pattern.

My wallpapers are produced in the UK in small quantities, allowing me to maintain the quality and individuality that are at the heart of my brand.
